215 McCann | Creative | San Francisco, California | April 2018 - June 2018
I was brought in to support projects for two clients, the San Francisco Giants and Xbox. For the San Francisco Giants, I helped the team build out the first campaign for this client and used my experience as a baseball player and fan to craft radio scripts for the game-day promotions. My scripts were produced and aired on the Giants radio network, KNBR 680. For Xbox, I was assigned to help stage and photograph the “deluxe” bonuses that came with the title, State of Decay 2. The photographs were later edited and sent out in advertised emails. I was also tasked with recording B-roll scenes of a before and after for the (then) upcoming update on Minecraft.
Events Manager | San Rafael Pacifics | San Rafael, California | June 2018 - August 2018
Quickly following my internship I worked for the San Rafael Pacifics, which is an Independent Baseball League team. I was tasked with managing a team of 7 people for game-day promotions and events. Gameday promotions included giveaways, raffles, etc. Brainstorming events and executing was always exciting like in between inning races, and eating contests.
Eleven Inc. | Research Intern | San Francisco, California | July 2019 - August 2019
My primary assignment was to research sports verticals, athletes, and competitive products for the agency’s client, Oakley. My primary product was a series of reports that were provided to the strategy and account teams to support briefs and augment client reporting. I also was able to be a part of the agency’s pitch development team for the Washington Nationals baseball team. Like Oakley, my primary contribution to the team was to do research and provide a report on the challenges and opportunities for this baseball brand within the MLB and Washington, DC fan base.
Rising Climate Project | Copywriter | University of Oregon | February 2021- June 2023
I was a copywriter for Deb Morrison and 13 fellow students. We’ve created an exhibit at the University’s School of Journalism that highlights the current climate crisis and provides ways for people to take action. We created an active presence on campus through a multimedia campaign. The final production before I graduated was a digital book containing interviews with local business owners and professors about practical sustainability.
